Universal City Cleanup and Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Twice a year Universal City holds cleanup events for its residents to dispose large bulky items and household hazardous waste. The objective of these bi-annual events is to allow residents to dispose items not allowed with their residential waste service.

All collections are limited to Universal City residents only. Proof of residency is required, it can be a Driver’s License, state-issued Identification Card or current utility bill.

Dumpsters will be available at the Public Works Yard, located at 256 Kitty Hawk Road.

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

No tube type televisions or computer monitors will be accepted. Please contact Waste Management for disposal of these types of items. Residents can schedule a pickup with Waste Management at 1-800-449-7587 or online at AtYourDoor@WM.com.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection:

Friday, April 17 & Saturday, April 18, 2020

Items accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste collection include:

Used Motor Oil & Oil Filters

Wetcell (auto type) Batteries

Tires (wheels okay)

Pool Chemicals

Household Cleaners

Paint, Thinner, Lacquer

Anti-Freeze

Brake/Transmission Fluid
