The library returns to a full 40 hour/week schedule on Tuesday, May 4. Visitors to the library are still required to wear masks. Browse the collection, check out books and DVDs, or use the computers.
Most weeks we will have an inter-generational craft activity on the patio on Thursday afternoons.
Curbside services are still available. To check out books, audiobooks, and DVDs for curbside delivery, teens, older youth, and adults may login into their library accounts and search the online catalog to place items on hold. Up to 20 items may be checked out on one library card. (Materials for young children -- picture books, board books, and easy readers must be reserved on an adult card.) After materials are selected, wait for our call notifying you that your items are ready to be picked up at curbside. Curbside hours are noon to 4:30 PM Tuesday through Friday.
For ebooks and other digital materials, Universal City residents have access to the digital collections of the San Antonio Public Library and the Bexar County Bibliotech. Library staff will be happy to provide instruction on how to apply for these library cards, which are available to citizens of Bexar County.
The library’s guest wireless network (Internet) extends to the curb at 100 Northview Drive, on the patio and in the direction of Northview Park. The password for the guest network is UCTXis#1.
We are eager to see you in the library again soon!
