THE LIBRARY IS CLOSED AT THIS TIME DUE TO THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY. However, services are still available, and library staff are happy to assist you Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

To check out books, audiobooks, and DVDs: Login into your library account and search the online catalog to place items on hold. Then, wait for our call notifying you that your items are ready to be picked up at curbside. Curbside hours are noon to 4:30 PM Tuesday through Friday. Only adult cardholders are eligible for this service. We post regularly on Facebook about new materials that are currently on the shelf.

Universal City residents also have access to the digital collections of the San Antonio Public Library and the Bexar County Bibliotech. Library staff will be happy to provide instruction on how to apply for these library cards, which are available to citizens of Bexar County.

The library’s guest wireless network (Internet) extends to the curb at 100 Northview Drive, on the patio and in the direction of Northview Park. The password for the guest network is UCTXis#1.

Printing is also available: Call the library and we will provide instructions on how to send your documents. Printing is delivered curbside Tuesday through Friday from Noon to 4:30 PM.

If you need public computers, please visit the Bexar Bibliotech: 1203 N. Walters St., San Antonio,  210-631-0230.

Materials can be returned to the drop box at 100 Northview Drive 24/7. Returned items are quarantined for three days before being available to be checked out again.

Summer Reading Prize Pickup is happening now through the end of August while supplies last. If your child has completed their Reading Activity Card, email or call 210-659-7048 to arrange curbside pickup.

We are eager to see you in the library again! In the meantime, please stay safe. We hope we can be of service to you during this challenging time.
